We are pleased to invite you to the 5th International Conference and Exhibition on Visual Communication Design (ICONEXION 2026), scheduled to take place from November 5th to 7th, 2026, in Istanbul, Türkiye. The conference is proudly hosted by Nusa Putra University, in collaboration with İstanbul Gelişim Üniversitesi as Co-Host. ICONEXION is an annual international platform organized by NPU that brings together thought leaders, researchers, and practitioners from around the globe to explore emerging ideas and technologies in design. The 2026 conference will be held in person, with the added option of online participation to promote greater accessibility and global collaboration. Participants who wish to present virtually can choose the online presentation option during registration. As part of the ETLTC Series, all accepted English-language papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process and may be recommended for publication in Scopus-indexed proceedings. Please note that while the Organizing Committee facilitates the recommendation process, the final decision on publication lies with the publisher. This year’s theme, “Beyond Pixels: Exploring Sustainable Practices and Ethical Dimensions within Visual Communication Design,” emphasizes the role of visual storytelling, digital media, and artificial intelligence in shaping more sustainable, inclusive, and ethically aware futures. It aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting innovation in communication design that supports responsible production, digital equity, ethical practice, and climate-conscious design strategies. We highly value your contributions to these timely and impactful topics. All submissions will be thoroughly reviewed by our Scientific Committee, and accepted papers will be included in the official conference proceedings.
